RES: seventh entity in the Register of Energy Clusters

On 11 February 2025, Klaster Energii Clip Swarzędz was entered as the seventh entity in the Register of Energy Clusters kept by the President of URE.

The cluster operates in Swarzędz and is made up of: Swarzędz municipality, Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Handlowe "Trak", Radaway, Clip Logistyka, STS Centrum Dystrybucji Samochodów, Clip Terminals, STS Logistic, MB Poznań and Clip Ubezpieczenia.

The distribution system operator is Glosbe.

The Register of Energy Clusters maintained by the President of URE together with the new definition of a cluster have been in force since 1 January 2024 following to last year's amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act.

Currently, there are seven entities in the register:

  • Ciechanowski Klaster Energii,
  • Klaster Energii w Gliwicach,
  • Zielona Energia Turek,
  • Białostocki Klaster Energii-Ekooper,
  • Klaster Energii Powiatu Monieckiego,
  • Ruda Śląska Klaster Energii i Wodoru,
  • Klaster Energii Clip Swarzędz.

The registration is voluntary but give access to the support system offering such benefits as, for example, an exemption from the RES fee or the co-generation fee.

Who can get registered?

The entry in the registry is available to any energy cluster operating in the area of a county (powiat) or a maximum of five neighbouring municipalities, which includes at least one representative of the local government.
