The new phase of the digitisation process at the Energy Regulatory Office and its impact on the heating tariff process
13 November 2025The URE Digital Twin represents a joint initiative of the University of Warsaw, the Energy Regulatory Office, and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which is set to revolutionise the tariff process in the heating sector with a combination of science, administration, and technology within a cutting edge AI-based tool. The project is expected to both facilitate access to public services and improve the work of URE in the area of heat tariff setting.

Slight increase in electricity prices in the settlements of generators within corporate groups
12 November 2025The mean electricity price in corporate group generator settlements for 2025 Q3 was 456.69 PLN and more than 2 per cent higher than in 2024 Q3 (446.76 PLN/MWh).

The President of URE announces final results of the 2026 Supplementary Power Supply Market Auction
23 October 2025The action was held by PSE (Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne) on 11 September 2025 and ended in its fourth round with 7.58 GW of contracted power capacity obligations. The auction was also open for the entities emitting more than 550 kg of CO2/MWh.

The President of URE approves changes to the electricity sales tariffs of the largest five energy traders
22 October 2025The President of URE (Energy Regulatory Office) has approved changes in the tariffs of electricity sales for 2025 Q4 to entitled consumers (private households included) for these electricity resellers: PGE Obrót, Tauron Sprzedaż, Enea Obrót, Energa Obrót, and Tauron Sprzedaż GZE.
