Energy Regulatory Office International Cooperation Team - Departments and Bureaus

The International Cooperation Team (SWM) is responsible for:

• coordination of the ongoing bilateral and multilateral international relations of the President of URE;
• organisation and coordination of the participation of URE in the activities of foreign regulatory institutions and associations, including ACER, CEER, ERRA and AIB;
• participating in and coordinating the preparation of joint analyses and studies concerning the tasks of the President of URE carried out by the organisational units of URE in connection with their ongoing participation in the activities of CEER, ACER and ERRA;
• monitoring proceedings conducted by the European Commission concerning energy sector in Poland, and representing URE in such cases;
• monitoring the situation on the joint electricity market;
• monitoring the correct implementation of EU directives into Polish law;
• maintaining contacts with foreign regulatory institutions and other foreign entities active in the areas covered by the scope of the activity of the President of URE;
• coordinating the process of conclusion of agreements by the President of URE with the regulatory authorities of the Member States of the European Union or the Member States of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA).
