Departament of Public Communication and Information

The primary tasks of the Departament include advising in the scope of statutory tasks of the President and supporting the President in implementation of the government policy in terms of energy regulation.

The primary task of the Departament is shaping and realization of the informative-educational policy of the Office. This department initiates and leads educational and informative campaigns, realizes promotional and publishing projects, including the publishing of the Energy Regulatory Office Bulletin as well as trade Bulletins. The Departament is responsible for cooperation with the mass media as well as managing the Internet site of the Office, including the Public Information Bulletin.

The tasks of the Departament also include the preparation of collective information about the realization of particular tasks of the President as well as coordination of preparing comparative studies concerning electricity in the frame of European market for gaseous fuels and electricity.

The Departament prepares statements of the President of the Office and coordinates the preparation of materials and documents by other ERO units for the Departament’s meetings as well as its committees, councils and teams. The tasks also include the preparation and coordination of preparing replies to interpellations and enquiries of members of parliament and senators as well as requirements of parliament and senate commissions.
